A Delhi-bound Air India flight AI-410 from Patna made an emergency landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) on Friday at 11 am.

"After detecting a technical snag, the pilot requested the air traffic control (ATC) for permission to make an emergency landing," a senior official from the Delhi Airport told thestatesman.com.

"The incident took place around 11 am and all 150 passengers on board are safe," the official said, adding, “All safety procedures were followed and the operations at the airport are normal”.

Air India also confirmed the incident and reported that all passengers landed safely.
