The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said that party volunteers will go door-to-door in their respective booths across the capital to check that every child has access to education and the family is availing the benefits of free-healthcare facilities of the Delhi government.

Addressing a state office-bearer convention at Punjabi Bagh, Kejriwal said that “difficulties” being faced by people of other states are not faced in Delhi, and the AAP government will ensure that those “difficulties” will never arise in Delhi.

“On the one hand, the children of Uttar Pradesh are dying because of a lack of oxygen supply, and on the other, the people of Delhi have access to quality healthcare for free. Not just have we made medicines free, even expensive surgeries are now performed without charging citizens for them in Delhi. People are also accessing and utilising the mohalla clinics for free high quality primary healthcare, that provides faster treatment,” Kejriwal said.
