As five withdrawn festival, in which public holiday have been cancelled, are celebrated by Hindus- the right wing Hindu group has turned violent. The VHP will be starting its protest from Monday in Uttarakhand.

Sanjay, VHP’s regional secretary (organization), said, “We feel the decision is an attack to Hindus. Will we submit memoranda at the Tehsil level from Monday in entire Uttarakhand. It does not make any difference, which party is in power. We will protest even if the BJP is wrong.”
