Uttarakhand CM orders verification of madrassas in state
Order follows as police books madrassa head and his son under POCSO Act
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has condoled the death in Nerwa bus accident in Himachal Pradesh.
The private bus from Uttarakhand was heading for Tyuni and rolled down into Tons river on Wednesday morning killing 43 passengers on board. The Uttarakhand government rushed a medical team for Nerwa.
Uttarakhand CM has announced ex-gratia of Rs.1 lakh each for the families of deceased persons, Rs.50,000 each for the seriously injured and Rs.25,000 for other injured in the tragedy.
