Stabbing at Sydney church a ‘terrorist act’: Australian police
Australian police are treating a stabbing at a Sydney church as a terrorist attack, New South Wales Police Commissioner Karen Webb said on Tuesday.
A seven-year-old boy was allegedly killed in a celebratory firing during a wedding function in Punjab’s Faridkot district, police said on Sunday.
The incident took place in Kotkapura town on Saturday in which another boy was injured, Charanjeet Kaur, SHO City (Kotkapura), said over the phone.
“While the seven-year-old boy was killed in the celebratory fire, another boy, who sustained injuries, was out of danger,” Kaur said.

The accused, a resident of Moga, was yet to be arrested, she said.
A case under relevant sections has been registered against him, she added.
Many lives have been lost over past several years both in Punjab and Haryana, during the celebratory fire at the weddings.
