Haryana Chief Minister ManoharLalKhattar has said that a special session being organised in Himachal Pradesh from 15 to 17 December would prepare a blueprint of new Haryana through deliberations on issues of development.

While addressing a press conference in Bhiwani on Wednesday Khattar said that the development works on hand and other schemes would also come up for a review at the session.

He said that brainstorming sessions were organised by the government and the party from time to time to come up with new ideas to pace up development of the state, he added.

He said, “The government is quite serious about development and bringing investment to the state. Out of the about 3,700 announcements made by me, as many as 2,750 announcements had either been executed or were under process, and work on the remaining announcements was being taken up.”

“I visited the entire state in three phases to ensure all-round development. In the first phase, meetings were held at the district headquarters in 2014. Thereafter, public meetings were held at the Assembly segment level in the second phase where numerous development schemes and projects were announced. Now, I am redressing the grievances of people by organisingJantaDarbars during my two-day visit to every district in the state”, the Chief Minister said.

At the same time, interaction is also being held with office-bearers of the party, public representatives, members of the monitoring committees and media persons. I have covered 21 districts so far and similar programmes would be organized in Kurukshetra in the last week of this month, he added.

Notably, Khattar-led BJP government in Haryana has set for three-day-long ChintanShivir (Contemplation camp) to be held at Timber Trail in Himachal Pradesh from 15 to 17 December where Council of Ministers, MLAs and senior bureaucrats participate in the event.
