More than 60.80 lakh units of electricity have so far been exported by two Cooperative Sugar Mills in Haryana, during the current crushing season.
An official spokesperson said that while Rohtak Sugar Mill exported over 31.31 lakh units, Shahabad Cooperative Sugar Mill exported over 29.48 lakh units of electricity.
The cooperative sugar mills in the state have so far produced over 1.88 Lakh quintal sugar by crushing 29.05 lakh quintal sugarcane, he added.

He said that Cooperative Sugar Mill, Rohtak had produced the maximum of 44,730 quintal sugar by crushing 6.20 lakh quintal sugarcane.
The Cooperative Sugar Mill, Shahabad has produced 33,700 quintal sugar by crushing 4.83 lakh quintal sugarcane, followed by Cooperative Sugar Mill Meham, which has produced 20,000 quintal of sugar by crushing 3.30 lakh quintals sugarcane while the Cooperative Sugar Mill, Kaithal has produced 19,790 quintal sugar by crushing 3.05 lakh quintal sugarcane and Cooperative Sugar Mill, Jind has produced 17,400 quintal sugar by crushing 2.48 lakh quintal sugarcane.
The spokesman said that and Cooperative Sugar Mill, Karnal has produced 19,480 quintal sugar by crushing 2.83 lakh quintal sugarcane.
Similarly, Cooperative Sugar Mill, Panipat has produced 12,200 quintal sugar by crushing 1.87 lakh quintal sugarcane, and Cooperative Sugar Mill, Palwal has produced 9,975 quintal sugar by crushing 1.78 lakh quintal sugarcane. Cooperative Sugar Mill, Sonipat had so far produced 8,400 quintal of sugar by crushing 1.57 lakh quintal sugarcane, he added.
He said that the average sugar recovery in Cooperative Sugar Mills of the state has been 8.19 per cent.
