India’s passenger EV market will hot up in next 3-4 years
Currently Tata Motors held over two-thirds of the country's EV market, but Mahindra & Mahindra and BYD are emerging players in the Indian market.
India's automotive company Tata Motors Ltd on Friday inked an agreement with German automaker Volkswagen (VW) Group and Czech’s automaker Skoda to manufacture a new range of products.
“Exploring a strategic alliance for joint development of products between Skoda of Volkswagen Group and Tata Motors,” said Tata Motors in a statement.
The agreement has been signed between Tata Motors CEO Guenter Butschek, VW Group CEO Matthias Muller and Skoda Auto (Geneva) CEO Bernhard Maier.
