Soft Bank Corporation chairman and CEO Masayoshi Son, Bharti Enterprises chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal and Japan Bank for International Cooperation senior MD Tadashi Maeda on Monday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

They expressed interest to invest in India’s renewable energy sector as a part of the “Make in India” initiative.

‘Make in India’ is a major national program introduced by the Modi government to facilitate investment, foster innovation, enhance skill development, protect intellectual property and build best-in-class manufacturing infrastructure.
