RBI bans Kotak Mahindra Bank from on boarding new online customers
However, the RBI (Reserve Bank of India) said the bank shall continue to provide services to its existing customers, including its credit card customers.
The Reserve Bank of India on Monday fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 64.1065 against the US dollar and 75.4277 for the euro.
The corresponding rates were 64.0958 and 75.5241, as on December 15, 2017.
The according to an RBI statement, the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were 85.5437 and 56.90 per 100 yens, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon.
The SDR-rupee figure will be based on this rate, the statement added.
