Bhutanese biz team to visit West Bengal
KOLKATA, 17 JUNE: A Bhutan Chambers of Commerce delegation will visit West Bengal to discuss bilateral trade issues. Mr Ritwik Das, a member of Bengal National Chamber of Commerce, had been in Bhutan recently as a representative of the state government during a two-day international seminar in Bhutan. Mr Das said he had a meeting with Mr P Tshering, secretary-general of Bhutan Chamber of Commerce, where he expressed his desire to bring a team to the city to discuss the trade issues. sns

NEW DELHI, 17 JUNE: Indirect tax collection in April-May, the first two months of fiscal 2013-14, grew by a meagre 3.8 per cent to Rs 71,379 crore. Customs duty collection for the two months was Rs 28,080 crore, while service tax collection was Rs 19,710 crore, finance ministry sources said. pti
