KOLKATA, 24 JUNE: The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) today urged the government to set up infrastructure facilities at the ITIs that are to be run in partnership with the private sector.
Mr Kallol Datta, president, BCCI today met the chief secretary Mr Sanjay Mitra in this regard. The government has identified 324 ITIs to be run in partnership with the private sector. Mr Datta said that private companies are eager to run the ITIs but it is not possible without government support. sns
