The fate of Delhi University’s (DU) ambitious plan of introducing ‘online’ test for postgraduate and professional undergraduate courses in consonance with the spirit of Digital India and timely admissions for the upcoming session (2017-18) hangs in peril as the registration for DU admissions are likely to be delayed. The registration process was likely to kick after 20 April. The ABVP is protesting against its introduction alleging that it will prove “counterproductive” to the interest of students from marginalised, poor and rural sections, who are not well versed with computer.
