Assembly election results: BJP set to sweep MP, Raj, Chhattisgarh; Congress ends KCR’s reign in Telangana
In Rajasthan, the BJP won 8 seats and was ahead in 106 constituencies, while the Congress won one and led on 69 more seats.
Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has announced the result for the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) 2017 on 29 May. Candidates can check their results at http://upsee.nic.in by submitting their roll or application number.
Reports suggest that Prabhakar Bindal has topped UPSEE 2017, while Rohan Gupta from Lucknow and Divyansh Coudhary of Noida have come second and third, respectively.
As per reports, approximately 1,38,000 students have qualified the AKTU UPSEE 2017 exam, which was conducted from 16 to 23 April. The Central Admission Board (CAB) conducted the exam and is also responsible for the allotment of seats. AKTU has around 800 affiliated colleges of which 75 are in Gautam Budh Nagar while 93 in Ghaziabad.

Apart from the result, AKTU is also expected to release the answer sheets of the first 100 toppers of the exam online. Candidates can also access the answer keys on the official website of UPSEE.
UPSEE is the entrance exam for degree level engineering and professional programmes in Uttar Pradesh. It is the basis for admission to programmes like engineering, architecture, pharmacy and fashion technology among others. The exam is held offline in both Hindi and English. As per reports, UPSEE 2017 was held across 41 centres 8 of which were outside the State.
