Little Laureates, as a mark of respect for the teachers who make significant contribution to society, recently renewed its vow to reach pre-school education to those areas where people still do not understand its importance.

To take the cause of pre-schooling a level up, they came up with a unique initiative called “Pehle Pre-school” that consists of building a strong foundation through child centric learning.

The initiative was formally announced by Ms Jhulan Goswami, the chief guest of the event. Addressing the press at the event, she spoke of Little Laureates’ noble initiative and appreciated the plan for a social sensitisation about pre-school education.

It was followed by the award giving ceremony by Jhulan Goswami. There were two types of Award one for “Consistent Service Award” and the other “Great Mentor Award”, which were given to teachers from different parts of West Bengal for their hard work and guiding little children.

The event came to an end with Jhulan Goswami answering a few questions, which were based mostly on cricket and the gradual emergence of Women’s cricket in India.
