Tourism Minister Mrs Krishnendu Choudhury and Social Welfare Minister Mrs Sabitri Mita today inaugurated the electronic complaint lodging systems for the common citizens in Malda district collectorate. The District Magistrate, Mr Godala Kiran Kumar, was present in the programme.
Mr Choudhury credited Mr Kumar for introduction of such a system in Malda. “Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wants to relieve the common people and she wants the availability of the administration at the doorstep of the common people. Today&’s launching of e-complaint desk is a step towards realisation of the CM&’s dream,” Mr Choudhuiry said.
Mrs Mitra said the new system would reduce the people&’s hazard of coming all the way to the district collectorate for lodging their complaints. She also thanked the DM for the initiative.
The DM, Mr Kumar, said: “All can lodge complaints online by this system. Complainants would be issued a docket no for further reference. All files would be electronically preserved for ready reference. Initiatives have also been taken to upgrade district collectorate to e-office.” “In the coming two years, the entire district would be turned into e-district. We have already got the green signal from the Union government in this regard,” he informed.
