Police have registered a complaint of attempted molestation against a doctor who allegedly misbehaved with a colleague yesterday  evening during a Fellowship programme organised by the Indian Medical Association (IMA). A senior officer of the city police said that they have registered the complaint against Dr Jayanta Mallik.
Mr Santunu Sen, secretary IMA, said that the incident took place during the fellowship programme.
"Last evening Jayanta made lewd comments about some of his colleagues and misbehaved with them. Later we brought him out of the auditorium and informed police of the matter," he said. 
"We have received a complaint against the doctor. We are investigating the matter. No one was arrested for the incident," said Mr V Solomon Nesakumar, DC Port
